Autumn Wedding at Fison Barn, The Earth Trust | Wallingford Wedding Photographer

I make it no secret that autumn is one of my favourite times of the year; the sun is lower, the colour palette earthier and Jen and Dan’s beautiful wedding day at Earth Trust was no exception. With dark green and orange tones complementing the changing landscape, boho textures and thoughtful details sprinkled throughout, the day was an absolute dream to photograph and so my vibe.

Right on the doorstep, taking place at the beautiful and intimate St Leonard’s Church, the period buildings provided the perfect historic Wallingford backdrop. The day started with Jen getting ready with her bridesmaids close to the church, whilst Dan walked into town with his Groomsmen. The morning was calm and both were surrounded by their closest friends and family.

After a lovely ceremony, the confetti took place in the secluded church garden and then we all set off up the road to the Earth Trust in Little Wittenham for the reception, Earth Trust is surrounded by breathtaking countryside and Fison Barn stands at the foot of the gorgeous Clumps and is a real blank canvas in which couples can stamp their own mark. We took advantage of the scenery for both the couple and group shots, whilst inside the barn Jen’s creativity shone brightly with all her creations from the marbled place-names, appliquéd name banner and ribbon backdrop to name a few. During the lead-up to the wedding the couple had also been collecting vintage glassware for their guests to use on the day and then keep as a gift. Set up in the barn the array of colours and designs were a real feature and one I am sure all of the guests will remember and treasure.

What a day and apart from a last minute downpour just as we were about to walk up the clumps from some more photos, we celebrated mainly in the beautiful autumn sunshine. Jen and Dan’s wedding at Earth Trust was an unforgettable occasion that captured the essence of their unique love story.
