YOU MAY BE WONDERING...
When is the best time to book my maternity photoshoot?
The ideal time for a maternity session is between 28–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined but you’re still feeling comfortable enough to move and enjoy the experience. I recommend booking after your 20-week scan to secure your preferred date, especially during spring and summer in Oxfordshire.
Where do the sessions take place?
All of my maternity sessions are held outdoors in carefully chosen natural locations across Oxfordshire, unless you have a preference for your session to take place at home. From golden meadows to woodland paths, we’ll select a setting that feels peaceful, flattering, and perfectly suited to this chapter of your story.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Flowing dresses, soft textures, and neutral or earthy tones photograph beautifully in nature. I’ll guide you with a styling guide before your session and can suggest pieces that complement both the season and the landscape, helping you feel confident and radiant.
Can my partner or children be included?
Absolutely. Maternity sessions are about celebrating your growing family, so partners and little ones are very welcome to join. We’ll capture a mixture of natural family moments and gentle portraits focused on you and your bump.
What if I feel nervous or camera shy?
It’s completely natural to feel that way, most mums do. My approach is relaxed and guided, with gentle prompts rather than stiff posing, so you can simply breathe, connect and enjoy the moment while I capture you at your most beautiful and authentic.
What happens if the weather isn’t ideal?
As we are well aware, the weather can be unpredictable, so I always keep an eye on the forecast. If conditions aren’t suitable, we can reschedule to ensure we have the soft, flattering light and calm atmosphere that makes these sessions so special.
